September 2016

Dear Friend,

My name is Robert.

Here are some things I wish for you to know about me:

I once became a poet and for one year lived in a Paradise of my own creation. I, however, discovered that poetry was not a match for me. In my heart I desire most to discover something new and to truly feel special. I want to go where no one has ever gone before.

All of this has led me to become an explorer. I wish to journey to the North Pole.

As much as I love the open sea and the adventure that comes with it, I long for a compainion. I have an amazing crew on my ship but they are less than compainion material.

For so long, I have pushed towards success on the open seas and have put my desire for a friend on hold. This is the one thing I have never been able to satisfy.

Bless you, my new dear friend. I pray to hear from you soon. Please send me a letter post haste so that we may begin our compainionship.

I shall wait with anxious joy.
